its funny.

so yesterday, a shitload of folks lost power in sf. i was planning on staying in already so when a couple folks called to say lets drink in some dark bar with no electricity, i choose to stay in. with no power, your choices are limited. i decided to pick up the book sooj oh gave me a few weeks back.

crazy i couldnt put it down. the book is very in of itself, but i think more, my brain was actually working and enjoying it. about a hundred pages into, the power came back on………

at first, i kept reading…. but something was nagging me constantly. check email, check yelp, aim, news on tv, sitcoms, korean channel…..

i couldnt stay away, too many distractions.

so whats on the schedule for today? me and sooj, who reads TEN BOOKS per week on average *cough* not including her duties as a copy editor, are going out tonight to read and drink some beer. awesome. stephs should be coming out to do her accounting shit.

fun times. a group of about 40 of us took over ob town in oakland last night. i called in saying about 20, they were not prepared for the unslaught.

ob town is a good place, i like it over kokos, (it in the kokos building). definately worth a try. korean fried chicken homies. awesomely good shit, kfc.

just had to throw a special hello to these little girls. met them last night. damn 20 21? good lord, no wonder you guys so happy. give it a few years, youll be old jaded and fucked up just like the rest of us.
